How to Use

Jan Marini BioShield is intended to be applied like a mask in a thicker layer to cover the skin for barrier protection. It is not meant to be rubbed in or patted on. For best results, apply post-procedure moisturizer as follows:

Always wash hands prior to application.
Apply a uniform, slightly visible layer over the entire treated surface: Apply product in one direction only using slow, smooth, and long motions.
For most uniform coverage, apply the product using multiple pea- to dime-sized increments as required.
The product will slowly dry, creating a flexible, enriched silicone barrier on the skin for recovery. Do not 'spot fix' once applied.

The Best for Post-Ablative Procedure

"My dermatologist had instructed me to use a similar product from Alastin after I had an ablative laser procedure to get the most benefit. However, it hurt! Thankfully, I had researched the best products for use after that type of procedure and had bought a few different ones to just see how they all felt, and this product was one of them. Thank goodness for that! I tried multiple other things first, all of which seemed to do nothing at best, or increase the pain and redness at worst.
